GENERAL GROWTH PROPERTIES

General Growth Properties is a publicly traded Real Estate Investment Trust ("REIT") and is listed on the New York Stock Exchange under ticker symbol GGP. Including predecessor companies, GGP has been in the shopping center business for over fifty years.

One of the nation's largest REITs, General Growth owns, develops, operates, and/or manages shopping malls in 44 states, as well as Master Planned Communities in three states, including Summerlin in Nevada, The Woodlands and Bridgeland in Texas, and Columbia in Maryland. As of January, 2008, GGP had ownership interests in and/or management responsibility for more than 200 regional shopping malls totaling approximately 200 million square feet of retail space.

Still in development, is the legendary Fulton Stalls Marketplace at the South Street Seaport. General Growth Properties has begun the transformation into a new, continuous and re-invented shopping street in keeping with the more than 200 year tradition of the area.

Next spring GGP plans to assist with the licensing of sixteen vendors in a farmers market plus environment that was warmly displayed this last Fall at a special preview night, which was also the launch of the well regarded, new periodical, Edible Manhattan.
